EcoTech Tra Vinh Renewable Energy Joint Stock Company (EcoTech Tra Vinh) was established in 2018 under the Business Registration Certificate No. 2100639185 issued by the Department of Planning and Investment of Tra Vinh province. We were granted the Investment Policy Decision on August 7, 2018 by the People's Committee of Tra Vinh Province and the Investment Certificate on August 20, 2021 to develop the 78 MW Hiep Thanh Wind Power Project with total investment capital. 4,206.332,929.553 billion VND, of which 20% is contributed capital by investors, the rest is borrowed capital from CIO Investment Fund (Climate Investment One) - Netherlands and Samtan International - Korea
Partners participating in the investment of Hiep Thanh 78 MW Wind Power Plant Project include shareholders:
· EcoTech Vietnam Renewable Energy Joint Stock Company - a domestic enterprise with strengths in renewable energy, specializing in investment and development of energy projects.
· Janakuasa Renewables - incorporated under the Singapore Enterprise Law, jointly owned by Janakuasa Wind (Singapore) and an entity, wholly owned by the CIO and ST International, which is a major shareholder of EcoTech.
· Mr. Lam Minh, an investor with 35 years of experience in Vietnam's electricity industry
TECHNOLOGY
The 78 MW Hiep Thanh wind power plant will be using wind turbines manufactured by Siemens Gamesa, code SG 5.0-145 IIB to generate electricity. Siemens Gamesa is a leading supplier of wind power solutions to customers globally. A key player and innovative pioneer in the renewable energy sector, with over 107 GW installed in 75 countries.
The conversion of wind energy into electricity for use is done with the following process: The wind turbine converts the kinetic energy of the wind into mechanical energy that rotates the rotor (blade + shaft) and through the transmission will rotate the generator and generate electricity. Devices such as brake, controller, generator, motion shaft…. Will be placed in the engine housing for protection (nacelle) and placed on top of the wind turbine (tower)
The generated 35kV voltage will be led to the control house through the control cabinets before connecting to the 110kV step up transformer. The 110kV step-up voltage will be connected to the transmission line and to the national grid system.
The turbine 5.0-145 IIB is a 3-bladed rotor with a nominal capacity of 5.0MW, blade length 71m, rotor diameter 145m, shaft height 90m, 102.5m, 127.5m and 165m depending on the dimension. tower height.
The SG 5.0-145 IIB wind turbines are regulated by an independent altitude control system in each wing. The control system allows the wind turbine to operate at variable speed, maximizing the energy generated at all times, as well as minimizing load and noise.

OUR TARGET
The 78 MW Hiep Thanh Wind Power Plant project will provide clean renewable energy to the electricity grid in Vietnam, thereby supporting the government's desire to reduce dependence on fossil fuels and energy imports. As electricity demand in Vietnam has grown significantly, the government has identified ambitious targets for wind and solar power development. In 2016, Vietnam's renewable energy targets were adjusted with a target wind capacity of 800 MW in 2020, 2,000 MW in 2024 and 6,000 MW in 2030. EcoTech's project will support government to meets these goals.
The investor commits that the 78 MW Hiep Thanh Wind Power Plant will use wind energy, minimize greenhouse gas emissions during the construction phase as well as bring this emission level to the lowest level during the operation phase, environmentally friendly in order to provide more clean electricity for Tra Vinh province in particular and Vietnam in general.
This will be an important step in the use and development of wind energy in Vietnam, increasing local power generation and diversifying power sources, reducing dependence on fossil fuel energy sources, contribute to improve voltage and enhance safety of power supply for Tra Vinh province.
· Wind power plant with a capacity of 78 MW will be put into operation in September 2021.
· Create 80-120 local jobs during the construction phase and 8-15 local jobs during the plant operation phase.
· Extensive support for local community development with Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) related projects implemented during construction and throughout the project's life cycle.
· Local people are freely to use roads built for the wind farm, improve traffic conditions, travel for the community.
· Improve the livelihood of local people through the development of Ecotourism.
